Acknowledged childcare
With Gastouder Noena I adhere to all requirements for acknowledged childcare, of course. This means, for example the approval of the GGD (for our home), an EHBO-certificate for children and proof of good behavior.
Of course, you are also eligible for childcare allowance from the government within acknowledged childcare. When you register your child, I will help with the arrangement of this government allowance, so that you don’t have to worry about anything.

Landelijk Register Kinderopvang
Gastouder Noena is subscribed in the “Landelijk Register Kinderopvang”, a database of all acknowledged childcare. It is a requirement in order for parents to get the government allowance. Next to that I work together with the agencies All Kidz Nederland and Gastouderland. They provide a cashier function as well as a neutral party mediation between the childminder and the parent(s). (Another agency of your choice is also possible, in agreement.)
Diplomas and courses
As a childminder I take my business very seriously. One of the things I take good care of is the continuous development of my knowledge. Learning about children is a proces that, in my opinion, is never done.
I am currently in possession of the diplomas Helpende Zorg en Welzijn, SPW-3 en HBO Kindercoach. Next to that I take courses regularly with the purpose of keeping my knowledge up-to-date and being aware of all new developments in regards to childcare. All with the purpose of being able to take care of your child in the best way possible.
Teaching location
Gastouder Noena is, next to a childcare location, an SBB ‘erkend leerbedrijf’. This means that I guide interns from the Project Boris up and until HBO-educations like Pedagogiek. Interns from all levels are welcome within Gastouder Noena to learn in their own, unique, way.
By adding an intern to the day, it is possible to give the children even more individual attention. The intern is always an extra to the group and never alone with the children. At the start of the internship the intern is asked to provide proof of good behavior. I value the enthusiasm and fresh outlook of the students very much and I believe it adds to the daycare.

Legal parameters
Within Gastouder Noena, the law allows for a maximum of 6 children in the ages of 0 and 13 to be in the daycare at once. In that group there is a maximum of 5 children to the age of 4 and a maximum of 2 children to the age of 1 year old.
These are laws that I take very seriously. There is an up-to-date schedule with the number of children at all times. To allow for and ensure peace in the group I do not pick up children at the primary school or kindergarten.
Sleeping protocol
Professionalism also includes the use of responsible materials and ensuring a qualitative sleeping space. At Gastouder Noena we have a separate bedroom for the children, including daycare-grade bunkbeds. Every day the room is ventilated, to ensure the room is as fresh as can be. Every child has its own bed in the room with their own sleeping bag in their own size.
Hygiene protocols
Hygiene is an important part of the daily practice of Gastouder Noena. This includes the hygiene of the daycare location, food and toys.
Every day the daycare is cleaned and disinfected using responsible resources. Sleeping bags are washed daily, toys are cleaned and disinfected regularly and every day clean towels and dishrags are put out.
Each child has their own cup, in their own distinct colour, so cups are never exchanged between children.
Personal hygiene, like washing hands and hygiene when changing the children are also taken care of meticulously.
These are a couple of examples of practices that Gastouder Noena actively implements to ensure the hygiene of the location.
